RULES & REGULATIONS
  • Campers assume all responsibility for the behavior of and/or damages caused by their family members and/or guests.
  • Children must be supervised at all times and are the responsibility of the campsite occupant.
  • Uncontrolled, destructive behavior will not be tolerated and may lead to immediate eviction from the campground.
  • Each camper is responsible for maintaining and leaving a neat and clean site.

Reservations campsites:
 
Reservations for campsites may be made by contacting the Village Office at 204-248-7290 Monday to Friday between the hours of 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.  Reservations can also be made by emailing villagend@mymts.net
 
Campsite fees can be paid at the Notre-Dame Village office, 55 Rogers Street, Monday to Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.or,
Grenier Mini Stop at 120 Notre-Dame Avenue West from 7:30 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.
 
Payments are made in cash or by cheque.  Cheques are made payable to the Municipality of Lorne.

Occasional renters Check In-4:00 p.m./Check Out-3:00 p.m.  Unless otherwise notified, reservations not honored by 6 p.m. will be cancelled.
 
Seasonal renters may check in after the May Long Weekend and must check out following  the September long weekend.

Cancellations:
 
Out of respect for others, the Village requires a 48 hour notice of cancellation for weekend sites and 24 hour cancellation for weekdays.

Parking:
 
No parking is allowed along the roadway.  Each site has adequate space for one (1) vehicle in addition to the camping unit.  Anyone parked in such a way as to block the driveway of other fellow campers or interfering with traffic flow must move the vehicles IMMEDIATELY.
Guests/visitors must park in the designated visitor parking area.

Visitors:
 
Visitors are asked to park in the designated visitor parking area.  Visitors not respecting the noise level regulation and causing disturbance will be asked to leave the campground immediately.

Speed Limit/Safety:
 
Campground speed limit is set at 15km/hr.

Personal Injury/Property:
 
Notre-Dame Campground and management shall not be liable for injury to persons or for property loss/damage.

Noise restrictions:
 
Noise restrictions are in effect between the hours of 11:00 PM and 7:00 AM.  Please respect your neighbors.

Disturbances:
 
Any disturbance that intrudes on another camper is not permitted.  This includes damaging property, fighting, screaming, loud music, insulting or obscene language, drunkenness, etc.

Dirt Bikes, ATV’s, Scooter & Motorcycles:
 
Operation of dirt bikes and/or ATV’s are prohibited.  Scooters, golf carts and motorcycles must be licensed and/or operated by a person holding a valid driver’s license.

Fireworks:
 
ALL fireworks are strictly prohibited.

Alcohol:
 
Alcoholic beverages may be consumed only in the permit holder’s camping unit and/or assigned site and in accordance with the Liquor Control Act.

Pets:
 
Pets are welcome and must be on a leash at all times.  Pet owners are responsible for cleaning up after their pets.  No pets allowed in any campground buildings, on baseball diamonds or in/on play structures.

Water Usage:
 
Water is for domestic use only.  

Campfires:
 
Fires are only permitted within the fire pits provided.  Moving fire pits is prohibited without permission.  Fire pits are not be used to burn garbage.

Firewood:
 
Firewood can be purchased at Grenier Mini-Stop located on Notre Dame Ave. West between 7 a.m.-10 p.m.
  
Garbage/Recycling:
 
Garbage and recycling stations are posted throughout the campground.  Please bag all garbage and place in appropriate bin.  Recycling can be deposited in designated recycling station.

Black Water Dump Site:
 
Located on Chalumeaux Street, East of campsites.

Site Occupancy:
 
One camping unit (tent trailer, camper, camper truck, conversion van, motor home, etc) shall be allowed per campsite.  A tent may be set up for the permit holder’s minor children or grandchildren.  Dining tents are permitted.

Eviction:
 
No refund will be given for the unused portion of the permit upon eviction.

Unexpected Weather Conditions:
 
If adverse weather watches have been announced for the immediate area, the evacuation area is the Centennial Hall on Highway 244 (directly East of the campground)
